Petal Points - The Cover Quilt

 

I designed Petal Points to be a block-based pattern with a secondary design. I wanted the bold, sharp flowers to “bloom” out of the corners of the quilt blocks.

 

I made the cover quilt for my sister, in a Twin size so she could use it in her dorm room. 

 

 

The Twin size will work with either a regular Twin or a Twin XL mattress. The length falls somewhere between the standard comforter measurements for the two, for maximum flexibility. 

 

 

 

 

The fabrics I used for the quilt top are Studio E Peppered Cotton. I used the colors Paprika 32, True Cheddar 36, Cinnamon Pink 65, and Merlot 53. 

 

The binding & backing are Kasada by Crystal Manning.
